Lisa A. Crawford, Behavior Consultant, C.O.O.

"I have my Bachelor and Master Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast, and am beginning work on my Doctorate in Psychology.  I have worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities including autism, Down Syndrome, traumatic brain injury, prader willi syndrome, and individuals dually diagnosed with psychiatric needs since 1996. I have worked in sheltered workshops, as service coordinators for both group home and supported living sites in the past, and as a behavior specialist/behavior consultant for other companies before coming to work for Sweet Behavior.  I taught grades 3-12, including working with middle school students with developmental delays for sixteen years. I continuously read and study the research in this field as my son is in a supported living program with dual diagnosis himself. I serve clients in Clark, Floyd,  Harrison,  Jefferson, and Dubois Counties in Indiana.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, fishing, gardening, spending time with my son, husband, family, and my dogs."

"I earned my master's degree in 2014 and am pursuing an additional master's in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University.  My plan is to become a board certified behavior analyst when I am finished.  I have been working with children and adolescents in some capacity for over fifteen years.  I have years of experience working with children with autism, traumatic brain injuries, and typically developed children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges.  I also work at one the nation's largest psychiatric hospitals where I assisted in the opening, development, and supervision of a program that provides ABA and other services to adolescents with severe behavioral challenges. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, reading, listening to music, watching sports, and serving the people at my local church."
