Lillie Conklin
Recreational Therapist

"I am Lillie Conklin, I graduated from Oklahoma State University in December 2016 with a degree in Recreational Therapy. My passion is to work with individuals of all ages with disabilities and be a part of giving each one the best quality of life possible, and what better way than recreation? I spent six months in a behavioral health center working with adolescents who had behavioral problems as well as an intellectual disability and fell in love with what I do. I am beyond excited for this opportunity and show others what rec therapy is all about!"
Susan Cunningham, CTRS
Recreational Therapist
"All my life I’ve been involved in sports and physical activities.  Playing high school basketball, volleyball and running track and cross country.  I realize first-hand the benefits of physical activities and how it contributes to an individual’s physical and mental well-being.  I feel very fortunate that my career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) provides me the opportunity to help others achieve over-all well-being.  My position allows me to share my passion and to help my clients live a healthy and fulfilling life.  I’m a graduate of Morehead State University having earned a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and have worked in this field for several years.  I am a very experienced, compassionate and solution-oriented therapist.  Above all, I’m dedicated to providing exceptional care and creative therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Recreation Therapy is a powerful intervention which can develop, enhance and strengthen individuals, physical, social and cognitive well-being. The best part of participating in Recreation Therapy is it makes growing and learning fun. Looking forward to meeting you and sharing my experience and dedication to the field of Therapeutic Recreation."
